Under this scheme, illegal plots under municipal area can be regularized in Telangana. Ever since the government made amendments to the LRS scheme, many buyers are confused as what are the documents required for LRS in Telangana and how to apply for it. How can I apply for LRS scheme?

To apply for LRS, you need to register yourself on the portal with your email ID and mobile number and select your municipality. In the menu Select LRS and print the application form. Now, fill in the application form and submit it along with the documents mention in the application to the concerned authorities who will verify the documents and send an SMS. The status will be updated and confirmed by SMS. Upon receiving the confirmation pay the fees and youll receive the approval and permission.


What are the documents required for LRS Scheme?

Those who stay in Hyderabad and want to apply for LRS will have to apply within 90 days and documents required are a copy of registered sale deed or title deed attested by gazetted officer, plan layout and master plan layout.

When the state government decided to collect Rs. 1000 from individual applicants and Rs. 10,000 from developers as a registration fee. Apart from the registration, LRS fee is also applicable which depends on the size of the plot and many owners protested against the same. Therefore, the government is now considering to slash down the LRS fee. Also, the last date of submitting application is October, 15 2020 and the government has also introduced online portal for LRS which is https://lrs.telangana.gov.in/ You can submit your application till October, 15 and make the payment for LRS by January 2021.
